The Annual Academic Prize Day (2024-25) was a memorable celebration, beginning with a warm welcome and introduction of the guests. The auspicious lighting of the lamp set a reverent tone, followed by the school prayer and Saraswati Vandana. The cultural program included a group song and a couple of lively group dances. The Principal Sir then delivered the welcome address and presented the Annual School Report, highlighting the year’s achievements.
The highlight of the event, the Academic Prize Distribution, recognized class-wise toppers from the Pre-primary, Primary, Middle, and Senior School sections, along with Perfect Attendance Awards. Students who secured top positions in the board exams received various cash prizes, given in the memory of Swamini Vidyananda Ji. For the past few years, this prize has been awarded to board achievers as a tribute to her vision of encouraging academic excellence.
It was a moment of great pride and joy for all at SDS School as everyone gathered to honor an exceptional achievement by one of our brilliant students, Shruti Shastri. She not only topped the school in the high school board examinations but also made a mark at the district and state level. With an outstanding 95.6%, she secured the 19th rank in the state of Uttarakhand and proudly held the 2nd position in the district. Such excellence deserved special recognition. To celebrate her remarkable success, a special PRINCIPAL's award given to her with a cash prize of ₹5100.
The Chief Guest inspired everyone with words of wisdom, followed by a Vote of Thanks from the Academic Coordinator.
The program concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a day dedicated to academic excellence and cultural pride.
